The SCTP skeet season lasts from March through the national championships (conveniently held in near Columbus, Ohio) in July. During the season, practices are held twice weekly at various local shooting clubs in the Cincinnati, Dayton, Middletown, and Wilmington areas. Many team members also simultaneously play Spring sports with their school’s teams including track, lacrosse, and tennis.

Buckeye Elite is an SCTP shooting team for youths from 6-12 grades. SCTP-certified team coaches teach kids with all ranges of shooting skill levels, from complete beginners to top level competitors competing at the top levels of state and national competitions. The coaching staff emphasizes both gun safety alongside fun and team comraderie while developing each members’ shooting skills.

Come and experience one of the fastest growing youth sports in the country. Our coaches have spent the last decade training area youth in a sport that is both challenging and fun, while learning skills that can be enjoyed over a lifetime.
